Impervious Boxing
Our day began with a few hikes and some beautiful spring scenery. The smells and sounds of the forests could not be beat. Details of the specific targeted boxes have been removed to protect the innocent. I'm sure you understand. This was an undercover weekend. We expected there of course to be boxes, some tubing, hiking, biking, tarot cards and of course some alcohol. Doesn't everyone mix tarot cards with alcohol?

Prior to our mountainous adventure we agreed to meet some of our companions for lunch. Little did they know that I had come armed (and potentially dangerous) with the clue "gold mine" with full intention of putting it up for bid on ebay. Not only did they "approve", but requested 50% of the profits! You'd think they were responsible for the making of said clues or something! While the outside of the binder is white, the inside was a rainbow of color (depending on the colors in your rainbow). I clutched the valuable information and guarded it during lunch so as no other patron could gain access to these sacred and highly coveted clues.

We met the rest of our group after lunch and focused on our hike.

How could you not love our fearless leader Barghest? We were so glad he brought Mososo Kruppe along to meet us.

Of course Joe couldn't help but taunt this snake. He is so much still a little boy in so many ways.

I reserved what I thought to be the perfect spot for primitive camping. We drove 45 minutes through the winding hills of Pennsylvania as dusk was well underway. We followed the directions given by the State Forest officials which never mentioned the private gated road that stood in the way between us and our reserved site. What were we to do? We looked at the map and to get to the site coming the other direction it would have been another 1 hour plus drive through now dark and windy roads. Finding the site would be quite difficult even once we were on top of it. We drove back out of the valley and begged to borrow a few feet of space from the Posse's backyard. They not only welcomed us back to civilization, but helped us set up the tent and get all of our stuff inside of it in the dark. It wasn't exactly what we had in mind for our adult weekend away as it was far from primitive, but we were so thankful for the running water and generous help from our friends as the hour was quite late.
A little biking was in order the next morning, but not before the cosmos were mixed up and the liquor was ready to go. We tubed too, but no camera! We weren't willing to get it wet. We had a terrific time with our partners in crime and look forward to sharing more great times ahead!
