Wyndsor Farm Horse Show
This was our first show at Wyndsor Farm and boy what a beautiful setting. While Evelyn is progressing nicely with Chimmy, this show proved to be quite challenging. We were hoping and expecting verticals for the jumps, but instead had crossrails with flower boxes. Chimmy didn't like the flower boxes too much and these pictures of the jumping shows that quite clearly. Chimmy wanted to jump away from the center of the jumps and where the flower boxes were and Evelyn had to try to straighten him out. Evelyn was challenged to keep Chimmy moving across the second jump fast enough in the outside lines. He actually refused during the show, but Evelyn circled and with some encouragement and direction from Scott, aimed Chimmy for that jump and sailed over beautifully.
Here you can see Chimmy did go over the flower box below, but at an angle.

He even preferred to jump the higher end of the jump so as to avoid those scary flowers.
