Colonial Day

It was Colonial Day for the 5th grades at school. Joe participated by making colonial ice cream and dishing it out to the kids, paying them a wooden nickel for every minute that they cranked the ice cream maker. Grandma taught the children about May Day and Maying. They learned how to decorate a May Pole and had lots of fun doing it.
